Welcome to the PIVH online introductory course on basic homeopathic theory and acute prescribing! We had many practitioners express their desire to start learning homeopathy but who were not quite ready to commit to our full Professional Master Course in Veterinary Homeopathy. Well, we now have the answer for you! The PIVH is now offering Module 1 of the Professional Master Course as a stand-alone course. This LIVE ONLINE module will give you a solid foundation in homeopathic theory and prescribing, focusing on taking acute cases and achieving successful results in clinical practice.

In this introductory learning module, study will focus on:

  • Establishing the foundational principles.
  • Mechanism of homeopathic effect, the curative response and evaluation.
  • How to work up a case, use of the repertory and analysis of symptoms.
  • How to study the materia medica and review of most common polychrest remedies used in acute prescribing (from injuries to gastroenteritis).
  • Adjunctive therapies, case management, integrating homeopathy into practice, interview techniques and client communication.
  • Includes mentored case management, homework, and a course completion exam.

Module 1 of the Professional Master Course includes live virtual classroom modules, webinars with mentoring case rounds, homework study with clinical case work, and a final evaluation examination.
