Welcome to Module 4.2! We begin our first lecture exploring the varied manifestations of Rabies in dogs, cats, livestock, and other animals. Including covering: how the disease manifests and progresses in different species (Rabies symptoms can look like anything, could be a DDX for: metabolic cow, colicking horse, GI dog, and a hiding cat!); cases demonstrating that Rabies is not always fatal; the occurrence of long incubation times; and finally that immunity can be acquired in absence of vaccination.
