Theory & Principles: Significance of Local Disease

This lecture will explore Aphorisms 185 – 206 of Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine, which is the premier guide to the practice of homeopathic medicine. If we treat our patients as if only one body part is affected, then we will not be able to cure them. By understanding the nature of local (also called one-sided) disease, we will discuss how to avoid suppression by treating the patient as a whole, even when symptoms seem to predominate in one bodily location or system. This is critical to good practice. “No part is not of the whole.”
