Theory & Principles: The Mental and Emotional State: Chief Ingredient of All Diseases

Continuing our study of Hahnemann’s Organon, we explore aphorisms 210 – 230. Even for our non-speaking patients, we can evaluate their emotional and mental well-being, and these aphorisms guide us in our focus. Hahnemann teaches us that even in so-called physical diseases, the mental and emotional state is always altered. We’ll learn to keep an eagle eye on our patient’s behaviors and attitudes, along with physical symptoms, in order to maintain an objective view of the animal’s body-and-mind indication of their curative remedy as well as their body-and-mind response to treatment.
