This equine case will help us exercise and apply our new knowledge. As the first full problem-base-learning (PBL) case of the curriculum you now get to practice taking a case and fully working it through from start to finish! We will explore the establishment of the case as acute versus acute flare-up of chronic disease, develop our methodology, discuss the seat of illness, and the delicate nature of evaluating mental and emotional symptoms. With our symptom list, repertorization, and differential discussion, we will arrive at the most suitable prescription and then discuss the follow-ups post-remedy.
