Making a Prescription Section: Prescribing Methods – Keynotes, Concomitants

What exactly are keynotes? How can they guide us to the curative remedy, and conversely, how can they lead us astray? Dr. Stieg will guide us through two Stramonium cases, a Crocus case, and a Lycopodium case demonstrating the usefulness of keynotes. We will finish up this lecture with a discussion of the usefulness of concomitants, and their order of appearance in relation to the stage of the disease. This lecture helps us organize our symptoms into those from the main sphere of the disease versus those that confer individuality to our particular patient.
