Making a Prescription: Treatment Methods — Chronic Disease Cases

In this lecture, Richard Pitcairn and faculty will walk us through treatment strategies according to the diseased state of the patient. Simple cases suffering from an acute flare of chronic disease may respond best to the acute remedy, followed by the chronic remedy, but complex layered cases, or confused, suppressed, or even inherited conditions in young animals require different approaches. We will discuss specific strategies of approach that will keep us focused on the individual idiosyncrasies and requirements of each type of case.
