Module 1.2

Welcome to Module 1.2! We will spend Module 1.2 delving deeper into homeopathic philosophy and applying it to acute clinical case work.

The goal of Module 1.2 it to spring off the foundations laid in Module 1.1 and now be able to focus on acute case taking: how to acquire the right history, organizing and classifying symptoms, translating into rubrics, performing a homeopathic analysis, studying the materia medica, selecting prescriptions, creating a treatment plan, and assessing follow-up. There will be multiple problem-based-learning (PBL) cases for you to sink your teeth into — enabling you to establish a solid frame-work for your own acute case taking.

We will review the common clinical conditions you see in daily practice and the most common remedies applicable to treat them, as well as studying the treatment of injuries and wounds giving you a guide to start practicing. Additionally, we will discuss essential business forms, resources, ancillary treatments; and students favorite panel discussion with your faculty on beginning to incorporate homeopathy into your own veterinary practice.
