Theory & Principles: Hahnemann’s Discovery of Chronic Disease

Hahnemann early on realized that well-selected remedies did not always lead to cure, and their effects seemed superficial and transient. This lecture follows our founder as he realizes that each patient is only manifesting a partial image of a deep-seated original disease that could only be fully appreciated by examining scores of similarly-affected patients. By uncovering the genus epidemicus of the three main chronic miasms, he enabled us to treat chronic diseases which otherwise persist through the lifetime of the patient.
